I’m Sarah, a lifestyle photographer born and raised here in Ohio.
Mother to two girls (one boxer, one baby), enjoying family life with my husband as we renovate and live in our home in Powell.
Known to be constantly planning or going on a trip, I’m always looking for our next adventure. I long to see and experience everything that is out there.
I never feel like I have enough time in a place, or even in a moment.
Photography has allowed me to capture the things that mean the absolute most to me, to freeze and keep that small piece of time. That is one of the many reasons I love it, and why I’m always excited to share it with others.
My story
I’ve always been creative, but if you met me early on in my adult life you may not have known.
Before starting in photography I spent twelve years in business school and working in the corporate world. I was all about the numbers.
After I had my little girl I tried to go back to work, but my heart just wasn’t in it. I found myself with all the free time that comes with being a new mom (KIDDING), asking for the first time in years “What do I even like to do?” Thinking back to when I was younger, I had always loved art and photography. I was creating constantly. I actually almost went to art school, but life had other plans…
So here I am now, after taking in-person courses, attending workshops, scouring hours of online material, and creating photographs at every chance I get. I’ve got a job that I’m extremely passionate about, and I would love for you to be a part of it!
